David M. Berlin, J.D.

David M. Berlin is the managing partner of the law firm in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where he practices in the areas of medical negligence, insurance law, and other personal injury claims. He had previously practiced in New York and New Jersey before moving to New Mexico in 1986. He received a B.S. degree from Michigan State University and his J.D. degree, Cum Laude, from New York Law School in 1983. He is a member of the New Jersey, New York, Texas, and New Mexico State Bars, as well as, a member of the New Mexico Trial Lawyers Association.

David believes that attorneys should give back to the legal profession and community as a whole. He served on the Board of Directors for the Center for Civic Values, an organization dedicated to providing law related education to the public and was also is a member of the IOLTA Grant Committee. He was a member of the Board of Bar Commissioners for the State Bar of New Mexico from 2003 to 2011. In addition, he is the attorney coach for the Volcano Vista High School Mock Trial Team and has been involved in the competition at the state level in various forms since 1988. David has also been a member of the National High School Mock Trial Championship Board of Directors, the entity which runs the national high school competition, since 2009.
